BUSTER KEATON’S CLASSIC: THE GENERAL

JANUARY 28 | 7:30 PM | UT TYLER COWAN CENTER

The America Film Institute ranks Buster Keaton’s The General as the 18th best American film of all time.  Experience a screening of this classic silent film, with the soundtrack performed live by the ETSO and conductor Richard Lee.

Keaton was famous for his deadpan humor and dangerous stunt work. Both are showcased in this story of a Confederate soldier who must recapture his beloved locomotive after it is seized by Union spies and return it through enemy lines.
